Only registered groups can march during the organised parade however others can join once it has passed and the barriers are taken down. They recommend that observers avoid the busiest spots, Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus, as the parade will fill the whole afternoon until around 5:30pm. Stonewall at 30: activists share their experiences of being queer over the last three decades The annual San Diego Pride Parade is the largest single-day civic event in the region and is among the largest Prides in the United States, attracting over 300,000 people. According to organisers, the parade sets off from Portland Place at 12pm moving down Oxford Circus, along Regent Street to Piccadilly Circus, Lower Regent Street, Pall Mall and then passing Trafalgar Square before finishing on Whitehall. This year, the Pride Parade takes place on Saturday 6th July starting at 12pm from Portland Place and will travel all the way through Oxford Circus, Piccadilly.
